It is reported that China will provide USD 10 billion funds for ICT development in Bangladesh by 2030. In 2017, China officially agreed to develop ICT infrastructure in Bangladesh. The China-backed development of national ICT infra-network for Bangladesh government Phase III, known as Info-Sarkar, is about to complete soon. Out of the total estimated cost of the project (USD 152 million), China has released USD 139 million by 2019. The project has been benefiting both the government and the general public as it helped authorities to continue official activities online. Otherwise, all government activities would have been affected.
