The SEZ Approval Committee, in 2020, approved the Bostan SEZ spanning over 1000 acres at District Pishin, bordered with Quetta. Considering its strategic location near national highway N-50, it will improve regional connectivity and provide feasible environment for business activities. The industrial units proposed to be established at Bostan SEZ included pharmaceutical, fruit processing, agriculture machinery, ceramic and Halal food industry. Development work on Phase-I (200 acres) has been completed and further launched for the allotment of industrial plots.
